We assist our clients in creating wills and trusts as part of a comprehensive estate plan. Additionally, we help seniors, disabled adults and their families plan for long term care costs in the future. Our firm is dedicated to providing customized services to meet the unique needs of our clients.
We offer our elderly clients and their families a variety of services including:
- Powers of Attorney - Used to specify who will make decisions about financial and/or health care matters on behalf of the principal if/when the principal is incapacitated.
- OBRA Trusts - Used to help those with significant assets qualify for Medicaid in order to take advantage of Medicaid nursing home care coverage.
- Guardianship & Custodianships - Should an individual become physically or mentally incapacitated, a guardian can be appointed by the court to oversee that individual's care and estate.
- Wills - Used as the centerpiece of most estate plans, these documents transfer assets to beneficiaries after death. Living wills, or advanced directives, specify a principal's wishes in regards to end-of-life care.
- Living Trusts - Used in place of or in conjunction with a will, a living trust can be used manage assets while the principal is alive and to transfer assets to beneficiaries after death without going through the probate process.
