Angelo Spyratos' 5 Day Jury Trial Results in Tremendous Defense Verdict

In May, following 5 days of trial in Cook County, a jury returned a verdict of $4,582 in a parking lot collision case where the plaintiff underwent a cervical laminectomy following the accident and claimed $40,000 in medical bills. Plaintiff's pre-trial demand was $100,000 (the automobile insurance policy limit) and he asked the jury for a $220,000 verdict (Cook County Jury Verdict Reporter ZZ 37/6).
