Education and Background
Ms. Blouin earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Astronautical Engineering from the United States Air Force Academy. Ms. Blouin earned her Masters of Science degree in Systems Management from the University of Southern California. She received her Juris Doctorate from the Northern Illinois University College of Law in 2006 where she was a member of the Law Review.
Ms. Blouin joined the law firm in 2011. She is a registered patent attorney and practices primarily in the area of intellectual property. Ms. Blouin prepares and prosecutes patent applications before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) as well as international patent offices. In addition to her prosecution practice, Ms. Blouin litigates patent infringement actions and practices all aspects of trademark litigation, licensing and registration. Her practice also includes civil and commercial litigation. She is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and the DuPage County Bar Association.
Ms. Blouin resides in Wheaton, Illinois with her husband and three children.
