Kimberly A. Davis, A.A. 1985 Morton College, B.S. 1987 Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, J.D. with honors 1997 IIT-Chicago-Kent College of Law. Kim received class awards and scholarships in law school and is particularly proud to be a recipient of the Michael J. Angarola Scholarship for Excellence in Trial Advocacy. Prior to joining Momkus McCluskey in August of 1999, Kim worked at a Chicago law firm specializing in mortgage foreclosure and attended law school in the evenings. After becoming a lawyer, she prosecuted voluminous subrogation cases at a Park Ridge law firm. Kim currently represents individuals and business entities in insurance defense, medical malpractice, large loss subrogation, personal injury, and commercial litigation matters. Her achievements include:
- Numerous jury trials, bench trials, arbitrations and mediations on behalf of plaintiffs and defendants throughout Northern Illinois;
- Recoveries approach $1 million for insurers on subrogation claims against private, corporate, and governmental agencies;
- Prosecutes subrogation claims for insurers sounding in product liability, construction negligence and general negligence;
- Recovered $1 million, with partner Angela Spyratos, for an injured motorcyclist;
- Recovered over $400,000 for an insurer on a product liability subrogation action against a major manufacturer; and
- Numerous presentations given to firm clients and bar associations.
Kim is an active member of the following organizations: Illinois State Bar Association, DuPage County Bar Association, DuPage Association of Women Lawyers, Illinois Association of Defense Trial Counsel, and American Inns of Courts-DuPage Chapter. She served as the President of the DuPage Association of Women Lawyers from 2005-2006.
